The Department of Defense’s Washington Headquarters Services has released a request for proposals for a potential five-year, $1.5 billion recompete contract to provide information technology and cybersecurity support services for the Office of the Chief Information Officer at DOD.
The DOD CIO Mission Support Services II indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract also includes information enterprise; IT management analytics and data analytics; command, control and communications; and program and administrative support services, according to a solicitation notice published Wednesday.
Under the multiple-award CMMS II IDIQ contract, the vendor will perform strategic and capital planning, assessments, modeling, research and analysis, software and hardware development and acquisition, standards development and evaluation, simulation and wargaming, security and administration and customization of software analytical tools, decision aids and models.
The contractor should also develop and maintain a quality control program to ensure services are delivered in accordance with the performance work statement.
