Matthew Evon Appointed Iron EagleX VP of Financial Planning & Analysis

Matthew Evon, director of finance at Iron EagleX since July 2022, has been named vice president of financial planning and analysis at the Tampa, Florida-based veteran-owned defense contractor, according to his LinkedIn post.

He will oversee the company’s overall FP&A functions and provide the leadership team with accounting and corporate financial advice to inform business growth initiatives.

Evon initially joined Iron EagleX in April 2021 as a business operations manager responsible for implementing business intelligence tools to facilitate collaboration across the enterprise.

Before that, he served as deputy controller at the Department of Defense, where he supervised four divisions in managing daily finance operations for a joint military command.

His DOD career includes time as director of finance and detachment commander and director at Fort Campbell North in Kentucky.
