Guidehouse has secured a prime position on a potential 10-year, $2.2 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide comprehensive supply chain and pharmaceutical management technical assistance services to the U.S. Agency for International Development.
The company said Thursday it will help USAID’s partner countries strengthen national supply chain systems to enable better health outcomes, performance and sustainability and enhance pharmacy management and service delivery.
“Our deep health system and supply chain expertise across both the public and private sectors has helped drive material improvements to medicine availability and health outcomes globally,” said Alicia Harkness, partner and head of the health segment at Guidehouse.
The IDIQ was awarded under USAID’s Next Generation Global Health Supply Chain Suite of Programs to deliver capacity development support services to governments and local institutions.
Other awardees are Bixal Solutions, Chemonics International, DAI Global, JSI Research and Training Institute, Management Sciences for Health and Panagora Group.
