Eric Richards was elevated to the role of vice president of defense growth at information technology services provider Agile Defense, where he previously served as strategic programs director for its Army account, according to a LinkedIn post.
He has been with the company for over five years and will now be responsible for providing leadership for defense vertical pipeline development and management, capture execution, team management, client engagement and strategy development, as well as leading and mentoring a team of business development and capture professionals in executing corporate growth strategy.
Before joining Agile Defense, Richards was with DirectViz Solutions as vice president of business development.
His career also includes time serving as a site lead at Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) and as a field artillery officer in the U.S. Army.
