Chuck Thompson, formerly executive vice president of operations at DirectViz Solutions, has been promoted to chief operating officer at the Chantilly, Va.-based information technology engineering and professional services company.
He succeeds Michael McHugh, who took the helm of DVS as its chief executive, and brings more than three decades of management experience to his new position.
Thompson previously spent more than 12 years at Digital Management Inc., where his most recent role was executive vice president of the mobile technology firm's defense and homeland security division, and served as a senior director at BAE Systems' U.S. subsidiary.
