Perspecta announced in January that it will be acquired by Veritas Capital for $7.1 billion in cash, or $29.35 per share. Veritas Capital, which holds approximately 14.5 percent of Perspecta’s outstanding shares, intends to combine Perspecta with Peraton, another government technology provider and a portfolio company.
VA Issues $590M in Orders for IT Hardware, Support Services
Colossal Contracting and Regan Technologies have received three-year task orders worth $590 million in total value to help the Department of Veterans Affairs procure information technology hardware and single- and multi-function device warranty support services. Colossal Contracting secured a $300 million order for the effort.
John Bonsell has rejoined Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) as senior vice president of Government Affairs. In his new role, Bonsell will lead the business unit to support SAIC’s strategic objectives. Bonsell will work with federal executive branch officials to support the company’s initiative.
