NGA Awards $794M in R&D Support Contracts to 4 Companies

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency has awarded four companies spots on a potential seven-year, $794.1 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for research and development services.The IDIQ has a base ordering period of five years and two option years and provides for R&D services in support of the NGA’s Research and Development Directorate, the agency said Thursday.The awardees are:Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH)Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT)Reinventing GeospatialSolis Applied ScienceNGA’s Research and Development Directorate promotes research initiatives that aim to support national security missions across the intelligence community and the defense sector.Join the Potomac Officers Club’s 10th Annual Defense R&D Summit on Jan. 31 to learn more about the latest developments in the defense technology sector.
