Joe Corcoran, a business development executive with over 20 years of operations and sales experience, has joined Hitachi Vantara Federal as senior director of professional services and delivery.
He will report to President and CEO Mark Serway and oversee business growth strategies, build project management frameworks and manage profit and loss functions for the company’s professional services unit, Hitachi Vantara Federal said Thursday.
Corcoran most recently served as chief business officer at collaborative tools and services provider Dorrean.
Before that, he spent more than a decade at Govplace, where he was senior vice president of service delivery and director of National Institutes of Health operations.
Earlier in his career, Corcoran held business development roles at Hygeia Solutions Partners and IntelliDyne.
“His expertise in professional services embodies the excellence we strive to achieve in this segment and Joe’s extensive background in driving business growth, promoting client-centric approaches, and innovating corporate strategies runs parallel with Hitachi Vantara Federal’s long-term goals for client success,” Serway said.
