Expansia Lands Prime Spot on $46B USAF Eglin Wide Agile Acquisition Contract

The U.S. Air Force has chosen Expansia as a prime contractor for a $46 billion multiple-award contract that seeks to develop novel weapons capabilities, technologies and system concepts for the service branch.

Work under the Eglin Wide Agile Acquisition Contract will focus on delivering rapid responses across all phases of weapons system procurement, from development and studies to fielding, operations and sustainment, the government consulting services firm said Wednesday.

The Air Force Lifecycle Management Center oversees the EWAAC activities, which are set to span 10 years, in support of the Air Force Materiel Command and Special Operations Command.

In September 2021, the Air Force identified 55 awardees to perform EWAAC contract work involving model-based systems engineering, weapons and enterprise analytics, digital engineering, Agile processes and open systems architecture.
