Eric Holstrom, formerly associate vice president of business development at LinQuest, has joined Huntsville, Alabama-based defense and aerospace company Axient as vice president of growth for the space segment.He oversees business development, capture management and growth strategy for the space segment portfolio in his new role, Axient said Monday.Before joining LinQuest, Holstrom spent over 15 years at ASRC Federal, where he previously served as senior director of business development and helped pursue space operations, maintenance and sustainment opportunities within the defense market.During his 25 years of service in the U.S. Air Force, Holstrom held various roles at the headquarters, wing, group and squadron levels.He retired from the military in 2007 as a lieutenant general.
