General Dynamics Unit Gets $732M Navy IDIQ to Sustain MUOS Satcom Ground System

General Dynamics' (NYSE: GD) mission systems business has secured a potential 10-year, $731.9M contract from the U.S. Navy to sustain ground infrastructure of a narrowband military satellite communications system. General Dynamics Mission Systems will provide sustainment support for the Mobile User Objective System, the Department of Defense said Friday.

An Ameresco subsidiary has won a $171M task order to build, operate and maintain energy conservation systems at a U.S. Navy shipyard located in Kittery, Maine. Ameresco Select will update or replace Portsmouth Naval Shipyard air compressors, motors, pumps, steam traps, power plants and energy security microgrid, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

Cardinal Health, Owens & Minor Get 3.4B in DLA IDIQ Modifications for Medical-Surgical Product Distribution

Cardinal Health and Owens & Minor has secured contract modifications worth 3.38B combined to distribute medical-surgical supplies to U.S. military and federal civilian customers. DLA exercised the initial option under a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that has 30 base months plus three 30-month options, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
