Sumo Logic has introduced a new Kubernetes platform designed to help organizations quickly detect and troubleshoot client and infrastructure issues as well as secure customer data and applications through a single dashboard.

Redwood City, Calif.-based Sumo Logic has been recognized by CRN magazine as one of the 10 coolest startups that develop technology platforms with artificial intelligence and machine learning to help customers manage business processes. The company, led by CEO Ramin Sayar, developed a cloud-based machine data analytics platform for government clients to build, operate and secure applications.

Doug Natal, former vice president and general manager of the federal systems division at MapR Technologies, has joined data analytics company Sumo Logic as general manager of its federal unit. The 20-year government technology market veteran will oversee Sumo Logic's go-to-market strategy that focuses on providing mission support to U.S. public sector clients.

Sumo Logic has obtained the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program Ready status for its cloud-based machine data analytics platform.
