Hensel Phelps Wins $92M to Build Air Force’s GBSD Mission Integration Hub

Hensel Phelps has won a $91.8M contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to help establish a facility at Hill Air Force Base in Utah for integrating the future intercontinental ballistic missile system. The project to build the integration hub for the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent mission drew nine bids, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

Northrop to Provide US Military Counter-UAS C2 Platform

The Department of Defense has selected Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) to provide a command-and-control technology for interim use by the U.S. military to defend against small unmanned aerial systems. The selection of Northrop's Forward Area Air Defense C2 system came after a service board evaluated "best of breed" offerings that could support joint Counter-sUAS  missions, the company said Wednesday.
