NASA OKs Axiom’s Commercial Space Station Module Proposal

Axiom Space has received NASA approval to build a commercial destination module to help the agency continue  low-Earth orbit missions once the International Space Station is decommissioned. The company said Monday it won the NextSTEP-2 Appendix I solicitation that provides for the Axiom Station, a facility that would initially serve as an ISS attachment and eventually as a replacement.

NASA Preps Follow-On Software Engineering Support IDIQ Worth Up to $423M

NASA expects to finalize a request for proposals for the next iteration of its Software Engineering Services contract vehicle in May. A presolicitation notice says the SES III indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will have a potential $423.2M maximum ordering value, which includes a unilateral upward adjustment rate of 30 percent for program-related uncertainties.
