Jose Arrieta Resigns as HHS CIO

Jose Arrieta, Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) chief information officer (CIO), has resigned from his position with the agency, after spearheading the launch White House COVID-19 decisions system, FedScoop on reported Monday. Arrieta was appointed to the role in May 2019. In the role, Arrieta provided leadership and oversight of the Department’s $6.3 billion IT portfolio in support of HHS’ expansive mission to enhance the health and well-being of Americans.
