General Dynamics Gets $104M Contract for US, UK Ballistic Missile Submarine Dev’t

General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has secured a potential $104.2M contract to develop, produce and install systems for the U.S. Navy's Columbia-class and the U.K.'s Dreadnought-class ballistic missile submarines. Work under the sole-source contract will take place in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and the U.K., through November 2024, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

DoD Signs $135M in Agreements to Help Five Contractors Strengthen Domestic Supply Chain

The Department of Defense has signed agreements worth $135M combined with five vendors under Defense Production Act Title 3 to help sustain critical workforce capabilities and broaden domestic production capacity during the COVID-19 pandemic.
