SOSi Expands IT, Intell Offerings With Vykin Acquisition; Julian Setian Quoted

SOS International has purchased Tampa, Fla.-based communications and information technology support company Vykin for an undisclosed sum in a move to grow IT and intelligence offerings for the defense sector. SOSi said Wednesday the deal gives the Reston, Va.-based company a spot on the Defense Intelligence Agency's $6B Enhanced Solutions for the IT Enterprise contract and on a National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency procurement vehicle for agile and cloud development services.

General Dynamics Wins $296M Army Contract to Produce Tactical SIGINT, EW Systems

General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has received a one-year, $296.1M contract to supply the U.S. Army with ground-based tactical systems designed to support signals intelligence and electronic warfare operations. The company's mission systems business will produce Prophet Enhanced systems under the cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

CACI to Help Maintain Air Force Financial IT Systems

CACI International (NYSE: CACI) has received a five-year, $45.9M task order to provide maintenance support for web-based financial information systems of the U.S. Air Force. The company will help  maintain an exhibit automation technology, a data analysis reporting platorm, an automated scheduling system and a planning, programming, budget and execution portal, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
