Northrop to Provide US Military Counter-UAS C2 Platform

The Department of Defense has selected Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) to provide a command-and-control technology for interim use by the U.S. military to defend against small unmanned aerial systems. The selection of Northrop's Forward Area Air Defense C2 system came after a service board evaluated "best of breed" offerings that could support joint Counter-sUAS  missions, the company said Wednesday.
