Navy Taps Seven Companies for Nearly $1B Pacific Region Construction Contract

Seven companies have been awarded spots on a potential five-year, $990M U.S. Navy contract to build facilities, infrastructure and ranges at various locations throughout Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command's Pacific area of operations, DVIDSHub reported Wednesday. The Japanese government will finance construction projects that will take place in Guam via the multiple-award contract as part of a U.S.-Japan agreement.
