Lockheed Lands Potential $1.2B Modification for U.S., UK Trident II Missile Production, Systems Support

Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has secured a potential five-year, $1.22B contract modification to produce Trident II D5 missiles and support deployed systems for the U.S. and U.K. navies. The modification has a base value of $494.9M and will reach its potential maximum dollar value if all options are exercised, the Department of Defense said Monday.

ULA National Security Space Launch Support Modification Increases Contract Value to $1.6B

The U.S. Air Force has awarded United Launch Alliance a $1.17B modification that increases the potential value of a contract for national security space launch support to $1.64B. ULA will help launch the National Reconnaissance Office launch five NSSL missions using the company's Delta IV Heavy rocket, the Department of Defense said Monday.
