Vectrus (NYSE: VEC) has won a potential five-year, $882.5M recompete contract to help the U.S. Army operate, maintain and secure the military branch's communications infrastructure. Chuck Prow, president and CEO of Vectrus and six-time Wash100 Award recipient, said the company will continue to support the Operations, Maintenance and Defense of Army Communications in Southwest Asia and Central Asia mission through the contract.

The State Department has approved a potential $104M foreign military sale to Egypt of one Northrop Grumman-built (NYSE: NOC) system for protecting aircrews from incoming infrared threats. The Egyptian government asked to buy an AN/AAQ-24(V)N Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures system for integration onto the country's head-of-state airplane, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Tuesday.
