Hebco Lands Potential $80M Air Force A-10 Technical Support IDIQ

Hebco has received a potential 10-year, $80M contract to provide technical order support and sustainment services for the U.S. Air Force’s fleet of A-10 Thunderbolt II jets. The Oklahoma City-based company will also help the service branch update digital data and ensure technical accuracy of the Warthog aircraft under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.

Raytheon to Build High-Energy Laser Tech for Air Force Field Experimentation

The U.S. Air Force has selected Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) to develop two prototypes of a High Energy Laser Weapon System for experimental use under a $23.8M sole-source contract. Raytheon will aim to complete the HELWS project by Nov. 1 of next year, the Department of Defense said Friday.

10 Firms Win DLA Fuel Supply IDIQ Spots

The Defense Logistics Agency has selected 10 companies to provide fuel products under a one-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a 30-day carryover period. DLA's energy unit received 21 offers for the IDIQ through a competitive acquisition process and will finance orders using fiscal 2019 defense working capital funds, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

A business unit of BAE Systems will engineer and integrate systems the U.S. Army uses to defend rotary and fixed-wing aircraft against missile threats as part of a potential seven-year, $242.2M contract.
