BAE Systems' information and electronic systems integration business has secured a five-year, $144M contract to maintain  avionics and electronic components of various U.S. Air Force platforms. The company will perform sustainment, repair and engineering services for B-52 and B1-B bomber aircraft, AN/ALQ-155 power management systems, USM-638 radio frequency transmission line test equipment and ASQ-151 electro-optical viewing systems, the Department of Defense said Friday.

L3 Technologies (NYSE: LLL) has won a potential $499.6M contract to update the avionics system of C-130H airlifters operated by Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve Command. USAF received six offers for the fixed-price-incentive-firm contract covering production, training and logistics support work on 176 C-130Hs, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
