McNally Invests in Defense Tech Contractor Quiet Professionals

Private equity firm McNally Capital has made a strategic investment in Quiet Professionals to drive inorganic and organic growth in the national security sector and enable the latter to expand its capabilities in support of the Special Operations Forces community.

Chicago-based McNally said Wednesday it partnered with Nio Advisors in the transaction.

Advancing Analytics, AI Tools Development

Andy Wilson, founder and CEO of Quiet Professionals, and the current management team will continue to oversee the defense technology company.

With the investment, Quiet Professionals will pursue the development of next-generation artificial intelligence and analytics tools, broaden service offerings, acquire complementary businesses and advance other strategic growth initiatives to meet the needs of the defense and intelligence communities.

Quiet Professionals will receive additional resources and strategic guidance through McNally’s network of industry experts.

Wilson called the investment a “game-changer” for the company.

What Does Quiet Professionals Do?

Founded in 2013, Quiet Professionals provides big data analytics, machine learning, geospatial intelligence and cybersecurity platforms for government customers. The Tampa, Florida-based company also delivers cloud services, open-source intelligence analysis and operational mission support to the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community.

The defense contractor recently secured a $64.7 million contract from the U.S. Marine Corps to provide technical support for an intelligence system.
