HawkEye 360 Adds 8 National Security Leaders to 2025 Advisory Board

HawkEye 360 has named eight national security experts to its advisory board’s class of 2025.

The signals intelligence data provider said Tuesday its newly appointed advisers are Mike Gilday, a retired U.S. Navy admiral; Christopher Miller, former acting secretary of defense; and Mike Studeman, a retired U.S. Navy rear admiral.

The returning members of the advisory board are Scott Swift, a retired Navy admiral; Norm Coleman, a former senator from Minnesota; Joe Donnelly, a former senator from Indiana; Art Money, a defense electronics and intelligence professional; and Mac Thornberry, a former congressman who represented Texas in Congress for over two decades.

HawkEye 360 appointed Swift as chairman of the advisory board.

John Serafini, CEO of HawkEye 360, said the company welcomes the addition of national security leaders to the advisory board and looks forward to their guidance as it pursues innovation and broadens the impact of its mission-oriented SIGINT platforms.

“Their deep expertise across defense, intelligence, and policy will be invaluable as we advance our commercial signals intelligence to support global security and operational decision-making. The renewal of key advisors, alongside the addition of new voices, reflects the critical role our capabilities play in addressing today’s most pressing challenges,” Serafini added.

The announcement of new and returning advisory board members came weeks after HawkEye 360 made changes to its leadership team to drive growth, improve service delivery and streamline operations as it pursues emerging opportunities in the radio frequency geospatial intelligence market.

The newly appointed and renewing advisers will join the other 14 members currently serving on the company’s advisory board.
