Tyonek Lands $98M Air Force Contract for Cyber Training

Tyonek Technical Services, a subsidiary of Tyonek Native, has booked a $98.1 million contract from the U.S. Air Force for the procurement of cyber operations formal training support.

Cyber Training Contract Specifications

The Department of Defense said Thursday the Madison, Alabama-based company will render in-depth subject matter expertise and critical capabilities supporting the 39th Information Operations Squadron’s objectives under the Cyber Operations Formal Training Support, CyOFTS, contract.

Work for the firm-fixed-price level of effort contract will be conducted at Hurlburt Field in Florida, Joint Base San Antonio in Texas and Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi. The anticipated completion date for the project is Feb. 28, 2027. 

The Acquisition Management and Integration Center, Detachment 2 located at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma is handing the sole source acquisition contract. As the contracting activity, it will obligate $7.6 million from fiscal 2025 operation and maintenance funds at the time of the award.

The 39th Information Operations Squadron serves as the Air Force’s cyber operations and information operations formal training unit.
