David Baer Named SilverEdge National Security Group Head

David Baer, a cyber and intelligence industry leader, has joined SilverEdge Government Solutions as president of the company’s national security group business unit.

Baer will bring to the position over 20 years of experience across cyber and intelligence sectors and operational and technical knowledge as he leads and helps expand the business unit that is focused on delivering cyber operations, digital network intelligence analysis, cloud computing, system and software engineering and enterprise business systems to government customers.

He will oversee strategic partnering and business development efforts, provide program leadership and will lead initiatives to further build up relationships with SilverEdge’s government and industry customers and partners.

Miller added that Baer’s customer insight and programmatic understanding will be key as the company continues to invest and advance innovation and growth initiatives.

Baer came to SilverEdge from EverWatch, where he served as a vice president with oversight of major bids, contracts and corporate growth strategies. 

He previously served as deputy VP and division lead at KeyW, which is now part of Jacobs (NYSE: JEC), and held leadership roles at Poole & Associates and TRW Systems.

Columbia, Maryland-based SilverEdge provides cybersecurity, software and intelligence platforms for defense and intelligence community clients.
