AECOM Subsidiary Wins $239M IDIQ for Navy Environmental Project Architect-Engineer Services

An AECOM (NYSE: ACM) subsidiary has won a five-year, $239 million contract to provide architect-engineer services to Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command’s cleanup projects at former waste disposal sites.

The award to AECOM Technical Services includes field investigation, laboratory testing and technical work throughout the remediation process mandated by the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act, the Department of Defense said Monday.

Locations of work are primarily within NAVFAC’s Pacific area of responsibility, but the government may require services to be performed at locations outside the region.

The contractor is set to receive the contract’s minimum amount guarantee of $5,000 through an initial task order.

NAVFAC Pacific administered the competitive acquisition process for the cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and received only one bid.

The command expects AECOM Technical Services to complete work by January 2028.
