Viasat Lands $325M USSOCOM C4 Tactical Comms Systems Contract

Viasat (Nasdaq: VSAT) has secured a potential five-year, $325 million contract to provide the U.S. Special Operations Command with related equipment and services in support of its command, control, communications and computer tactical communications systems. 

The company will deliver primary mission equipment, ancillary equipment, interoperable accessories, repairs, training and support services to the Program Executive Office for C4, the Department of Defense said Tuesday. 

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will support a broad range of programs across the PEO-C4 including the Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement and the Airborne, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Transport. 

Work will occur at Viasat’s facility in Carlsbad, California, through Nov. 20, 2027.

USSOCOM will obligate $5,000 in minimum contract guarantee to Viasat at the time of award.
