Leidos to Buy Cobham’s Australian Special Mission Business; Roger Krone Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 8, 2022 — Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) looks to purchase Cobham‘s Australian special mission business to expand its portfolio with capabilities for airborne surveillance and search and rescue missions, ExecutiveGov reported.

“The integration of Special Mission into Leidos Australia will expand the scope of our global airborne ISR capabilities, diversify revenues, and open up new growth avenues,” said Roger Krone, chairman and CEO of Leidos and a 2022 Wash100 Award recipient.

Leidos and Cobham entered into a definitive agreement for the acquisition, which is subject to customary closing conditions.
