State Department Requests Feedback on ‘Evolve’ IT Contract Update

The State Department is asking vendors to review the updated preliminary solicitation regarding its Evolve contract vehicle for information technology products and services.

A revised draft request for proposals posted Friday on SAM.gov indicates the potential ceiling value for the multiple-award procurement could reach up to $10 billion.

The department first released contracting details of its Evolve program in October 2021, saying the cumulative amount for all task orders was established at $8 billion.

Industry can submit feedback until July 22.

In the latest notice, the State also encouraged potential offerors to provide recommendations for refining the final solicitation notice and attend a live question-and-answer session on July 26.
