Steve Ratner, a more than two-decade human resources leader, will join Mercury Systems (Nasdaq: MRCY) on May 2 to serve as senior vice president and chief HR officer

He will report to Mark Aslett, president and CEO of Mercury Systems and a previous Wash100 awardee, as he oversees talent recruitment and retention efforts and supports business growth initiatives, the company said Thursday.

Ratner has the “experience and vision to help us attract, retain, and develop the best team in the industry while building on a culture grounded in our purpose, Innovation That Matters, By and For People Who Matter,” said Aslett.

He will bring to the role his decades of experience and expertise in HR strategy, employee engagement and compensation.
