Eric Crooker Named HII Ingalls Shipbuilding VP for Infrastructure & Sustainability

Eric Crooker, vice president for contracts and pricing at Huntington Ingalls Industries‘ (NYSE: HII) Ingalls Shipbuilding division since April 2018, has transitioned to a new role as VP of infrastructure and sustainability within the same business.

HII said Wednesday Crooker’s new role will combine health, safety, security, facility, maintenance and environmental elements with an increased emphasis on compliance and enterprise risk management.

His team will be responsible for the division’s governance, social and environmental expectations across businesses. Ingalls Shipbuilding created the position in a move to pursue mitigation strategies, expand portfolio-wide ERM and apply best practices in audit readiness and compliance.

Crooker has been with HII for a decade and supported legal, operational, security, facility and shipyard capital efforts of the shipbuilding company.

The Tulane University graduate previously worked in associate roles at law firms.
