Dorith Hakim Named CPI Aero CEO, President & Director

Dorith Hakim, an aerospace industry veteran, has joined CPI Aerostructures as CEO, president and director.

She succeeds Douglas McCrosson, who stepped down from his role to pursue other opportunities, CPI Aero said Wednesday.

Terry Stinson, chairman of the board of CPI Aero, said Hakim brings to the company her aerospace industry experience, expertise in supply chain, program, manufacturing, product, customer engagement and operations and leadership capabilities acquired through her tenure at aerospace and defense companies.

Hakim most recently served as group vice president at Parker Hannifin’s (NYSE: PH) aerospace business, where she led global supply chain operations and was responsible for $1.9 billion in spending.

She previously worked at Triumph Group (NYSE: TGI) as VP for corporate program management and operations excellence and was director of aftermarket operations at Sikorsky Aircraft.

Hakim, a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, spent over two decades at Bell Helicopter, where she held leadership roles including program director of helicopter product lines and director of strategic sourcing and supply chain management.
