A roster of renowned leaders from the Department of Defense will convene on Wednesday during McAleese and Associates’ “FY2023 Defense Programs” Conference to discuss the top programs and initiatives the department is prioritizing currently and in the future.

“I have attended and enjoyed this event multiple times,” said Jim Garrettson, CEO and founder of Executive Mosaic. “McAleese hosts an impressive speaker lineup and an equally impressive attendance list of key DOD contacts of consequence.”

Led by Principal Jim McAleese, a previous Wash100 Award recipient and a GovCon Expert, McAleese and Associates is a government contracts consulting and legal firm that specializes in military and defense contracts and acquisitions.

“Jim McAleese truly puts the ‘Master’ in the ‘Master of Ceremonies’ perennial role he plays in putting on a must-see cavalcade of industry leaders, stars and experts,” Garrettson added.

Wash100 Award winners Heidi Shyu, the Defense Department’s undersecretary of defense for research and engineering, and Derek Tournear, director of the Space Development Agency, will kick off the annual conference with Anthony Cotton, commander of the Air Force Global Strike Command, in a virtual panel discussion streaming at McAleese.com on March 8.

The March 9 in-person event opens with remarks from Lt. Gen. Neil Thurgood, the U.S. Army’s director for Hypersonics, Directed Energy, Space and Rapid Acquisition, and proceeds with a program of distinguished military leaders, DoD officials and federal government representatives.

Lt. Gen. Neil Thurgood is also scheduled to keynote the Hypersonics Forum hosted by ExecutiveBiz Events on Apr. 19. Click here to register.
