Palo Alto Networks Adds 4 Members to Public Sector Advisory Council

Palo Alto Networks (NYSE: PANW) has appointed four members to the company’s public sector advisory council to offer their insights into cybersecurity challenges that government and industrial organizations face.

The company said Monday its new PSAC members are T.J. White, a retired U.S. Navy vice admiral; Renee Wynn, former chief information officer of NASA; Ciaran Martin, former CEO of the U.K.’s national cybersecurity center; and IT security industry veteran Mario Chiock.

White is a more-than-three-decade national security practitioner who formerly led the U.S. Fleet Cyber Command and 10th Fleet.

Wynn serves as an independent board member with more than 30 years of federal leadership experience in the areas of cyber, risk management and supply chain. She previously supported digital transformation efforts at NASA and the Environmental Protection Agency.

Martin helped establish and led the British government’s national hub for cybersecurity as inaugural CEO. He now helps NATO and various companies develop cybersecurity strategies in an advisory role.

Chiock holds more than four decades of experience in the areas of IT, cybersecurity and oil field operations. He also chaired the American Petroleum Institute’s cybersecurity committee.
