CBP to Release Enterprise Cloud & Integrated Services RFP in 2022

The Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Protection plans to issue a draft request for proposals and a formal solicitation for a cloud procurement effort in 2022.

CBP is finalizing the requirements for the Enterprise Cloud and Integrated Services acquisition program meant to facilitate the migration of its information technology platforms to a cloud-based infrastructure, according to a notice posted Friday.

CBP said it is conducting additional market research for the ECIS procurement effort through two requests for information on the General Services Administration’s eBuy platform.

The agency noted that it will continue to communicate progress and decisions on the ECIS program with industry.

In April 2020, CBP solicited feedback from industry on a draft statement of objectives as it works to finalize a requirements document for the ECIS program.
