Thomas Holzthum, a member of the board of directors at PCX Aerosystems, has been named CEO of the Newington, Connecticut-based aircraft components supplier.
He succeeds Jeff Frisby, who has led PCX since April 2017 and will transition to a new role as executive chairman, the company said Wednesday.
Holzthum has served as the company’s chief commercial officer since January and a board member since 2019. Previously, he spent 26 years at Triumph Group where his roles included executive vice president of integrated systems, corporate VP and president of actuation systems business.
Both moves come more than four months after private equity firm Greenbriar Equity Group acquired PCX.
