Oshkosh Defense Receives $99M Order for Army Ground Vehicle Weapon Integration

The defense subsidiary of Oshkosh (NYSE: OSK) has received a $99 million delivery order to equip additional Stryker infantry carrier vehicles with a medium caliber weapon system.

Oshkosh Defense will install the 30mm MCWS on 83 vehicles for the Stryker Brigade Combat Team, as part of a potential $943 million contract awarded in June, the company said Tuesday.

The Army, in June, tasked Oshkosh Defense, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and Pratt Miller Defense to install the weapon system on the Stryker Double V Hull Infantry Carrier Vehicle across six brigade teams.

The three companies work together as partners under the six-year contract for MCWS integration services. Oshkosh Defense’s Production Representative System Sample team conducts risk mitigation tests as part of the MCWS implementation effort.
