Air Force Taps 14 Contractors for Airfield Infrastructure Services Under $2B IDIQ Vehicle

Seven joint ventures and seven independent firms have won spots on a potential $2 billion contract vehicle to provide architectural and engineering services to the U.S. Air Force’s airfield infrastructure projects worldwide.

The 772nd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron received 25 proposals for Pool 1 of the AE-Next acquisition program via full and open competition and obligated $42,000 for the first task order, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

DOD noted that the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a 10-year ordering period that took effect July 30 and the IDIQ vehicle includes a five-year option period slated to commence on July 29, 2031.
