Perspecta, Now Part of Peraton, Secures $474M DCSA IT App Development OTA

Perspecta, which now operates as part of Peraton, has received a potential five-year, $473.8 million other transaction agreement from the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency for enterprise information technology application development support services.

The agreement was awarded following the completion of a data analytics and security enterprise architecture prototype as part of an OTA that Perspecta secured from DCSA in May 2019, the Department of Defense said Friday.

The contractor will continue to develop and operate prototypes related to a comprehensive IT platform used to manage all security clearance adjudications and background investigations for federal contractors and employees and further build up and expand defense business system capabilities in relation to the operations of the enterprise IT application using the Scaled Agile Framework processes.

The OTA has a potential ceiling value of $500 million for all performance periods and contract line item numbers and has a one-year base term and four 12-month options.

Work will occur within the National Capital Region surrounding Fort Meade in Maryland through May 14, 2026.

DCSA Acquisition and Contracting is the contracting activity and obligated $29.3 million at the time of award.

Perspecta is now being integrated with Peraton after the latter’s private equity owner, Veritas Capital, closed the $7.1 billion cash acquisition in early May.
