LMI Extends Marine Corps Logistics Support; Robert Lech Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 21, 2021 — LMI will provide software and other tools to the U.S. Marine Corps Logistics Command for use in ground equipment inventory management as part of a one-year contract, ExecutiveBiz reported May 11.

The Tysons, Virginia-based nonprofit said May 10 it has helped LOGCOM manage retail and wholesale sourcing of secondary reparable spares since the Department of Defense launched a spare part modeling initiative more than 10 years ago.

“It is critical that we lend our expertise and contribute to the readiness of our Marine Corps by ensuring its systems operate as efficiently as possible,” said Robert Lech, vice president of LMI’s defense market.
