DISA Releases Telephony Service RFP

The Defense Information Systems Agency has kicked off the solicitation process for indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts worth potentially $382.4 million combined to procure telephony services from the private sector, according to a request for proposals notice posted on SAM .gov.

DISA said Monday it is looking for contractors that can provide internet protocol-based networking and telephony platforms to the agency as part of the Voice Internet Service Provider program.

The contracts cover intranet and internet calling services as well as direct inward dialing support across four regions.

Interested vendors can submit questions about the DISA VISP effort until May 24 and proposals through June 17.
