TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 19, 2021 — Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE: HII) has opened a 22K-square-foot facility built as part of its ongoing Unmanned Systems Center of Excellence development project in Hampton, Virginia, ExecutiveBiz reported Jan. 12.
HII said Jan. 11 it will perform hull structure assembly work in the new building to support Boeing‘s (NYSE: BA) production of Orca extra large unmanned undersea vehicles for the U.S. Navy.
