"The sales demonstrate the United States continues to be the global security partner of choice," Grant said. "Not only do we already offer the most advanced defense equipment in the world, we're also increasingly adapting to meet the technological needs of our allies and partner militaries in conjunction with the Department of State and Commerce by addressing export issues in support of our U.S. industry partners.”

FMS sales funded under the Title 10 Foreign Assistance Act hit $2.68B in the last fiscal year.

"We're increasingly expanding our sales, moving beyond standard U.S. programs of record, and offering a rising number of non-program of record systems, which are opportunities to integrate ally and partner nation systems into the U.S. platforms," Grant added.

In addition to arms transfers, Grant noted that DSCA trained more than 31K foreign military students at Department of Defense schoolhouses and fielded 55 advisers to 13 allied and partner countries.
