Four Points Technology Books Potential $340M Task Order for Treasury Shared Cloud Services

Four Points Technology will help the Department of the Treasury manage a shared services platform for commercial cloud offerings under a potential five-year, $340M task order.

The company said Thursday it will support department components in the procurement of Amazon Web Services and Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) services for the Treasury's Workplace Community Cloud.

David Gilchrist, CEO of Four Points, said the company is a certified AWS and Azure provider and will make cloud consumption data and software products available to the Treasury.

The task order has one base year along with four option periods and was awarded under NASA's Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement vehicle.

Chantilly, Virginia-based Four Points works as a value-added reseller to help federal clients access technology offerings from vendors such as Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO), Fortinet (Nasdaq: FTNT), Splunk (Nasdaq: SPLK), FireEye and VMware (NYSE: VMW).
