Vertosoft Holds Spot on $13B Army IT Software Contract Vehicle

Vertosoft has secured a position on the five-year, $13 billion Information Technology Enterprise Solutions (ITES) – Software 2 (SW2) contract from the Army Contracting Command to provide commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software and maintenance support to the Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal agencies, the company said Tuesday.

The ITES-SW2 contract has one five-year option period, which would have an expected completion date of August 2030.  With Vertosoft’s technical support, federal agencies will be able to acquire a wide range of COTS software and maintenance services. 

Vertosoft will support divisions including, Audio & Visual, Business & Finance, Communication, Database / Data Integration & Big Data, Education, Internet, Modeling & Simulation, Multimedia & Design, NetOps, Office Suite, Operating Systems, Programming & Development, and IT Utility & Security, and Specialized.

Vertosoft is one of 31 companies that won a spot on the ITES-SW2 contract. Army Contracting Command received 32 bids for the ITES – Software 2 firm-fixed-price contract, which seeks to provide COTS software and maintenance support to help the service, Department of Defense and other federal agencies meet their infrastructure and infrastructure goals, DoD said Monday.
