Vectrus Wins $196M Navy Base Operations Support IDIQ

Vectrus (NYSE: VEC) has won a potential five-year, $196.1M contract from the U.S. Navy to provide base operations services at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay in Cuba.

The Department of Defense said Monday Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast in Jacksonville, Florida, received two offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, which has a one-year base period valued at $43.4M and four option years.

Support services under the IDIQ contract include facility management and investment, family housing, utilities management, custodial, integrated solid waste management, pest control, water, electrical, grounds maintenance and landscaping, wastewater and base support vehicles and equipment.  

The service will obligate $35M in fiscal 2021 funds for recurring work under individual task orders issued during the contract’s base term.
