Aerojet Rocketdyne Appoints Dan Boehle as CFO; Eileen Drake Quoted

Dan Boehle, formerly vice president, controller and chief accounting officer at Aerojet Rocketdyne (NYSE: AJRD), has taken on a new role as the company’s chief financial officer.

Boehle will lead an executive management team and oversee strategic efforts as well as accounting operations including fiscal records maintenance and financial reports issuance, Aerojet Rocketdyne said Friday.

He will replace Paul Lundstrom, who joined Aerojet Rocketdyne in 2016 from United Technologies Corp. and will serve as CFO of electronics supplier Flex beginning on Sept. 1.

Boehle will be based at the company’s El Segundo, Calif. headquarters and report directly to Eileen Drake, its president and CEO.

According to Drake, Boehle brings “a strong track record” and significant corporate finance expertise to his new role that will help the company and its shareholders in efforts to drive profitable growth.

Prior to joining Aerojet Rocketdyne in 2017, Boehle spent over 15 years at Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) where managed the latter’s financial and auditing activities.

He also held a senior manager position at KPMG earlier in his more than 25-year career.
