Seven Firms Awarded $90M NAVFAC Construction Contract Funds

Jeff Brody

Two joint ventures and five independent firms have secured $90M in contract funds to build, repair and renovate general buildings within Naval Facilities Engineering Command’s southwest area of operations.

The award increases the maximum value of the original multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to $330M, the Department of Defense said Friday.

NAVFAC received 24 proposals for the potential five-year IDIQ through a competitive procurement on the Navy’s e-commerce portal.

The command will primarily use Navy’s military construction and working capital funds as well as the Marine Corps’ O&M funds on future task orders.

Ninety percent of contract work will take place in California, while the remaining 10 percent will be accomplished in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada and Utah.

The contractors are:

  • Dimensions Construction
  • D Square Construction and Au’ Authum Ki joint venture
  • Herman-JCG JV
  • I.E. Pacific
  • J.I. Garcia Construction
  • K.L. House Construction
  • Patricia I. Romero, doing business as Pacific West Builders
