Planned Systems International has been awarded a five-year, $149M contract to help the Department of Veterans Affairs test information technology systems as the VA transitions to an updated electronic health records system.

PSI said Tuesday it will continue to provide test environments and related support to the enterprise testing service unit within the VA IT and EHR modernization offices.

The company has supported the department’s IT operations through software quality assessments, systems engineering, independent test and evaluation and logistics services.
